Why This Wall Is Here
Casper Brewing Company is veteran owned. Those of us who have served understand how fragile life can be, and we know that behind every fallen service member is a family whose sacrifice continues long after the uniform is folded and put away.
We created the Wall of Fallen Heroes because we wanted to do more than say that we remember. It is our way of honoring these men and women, standing beside the families they left behind, and keeping their names present in a place built for community, friendship and good times.
We also want everyone who walks through our doors to remember something that is easy to forget in the ordinary moments of life: the freedom to gather with friends, raise a glass, laugh together and enjoy an evening in peace was not given to us without cost. It was paid for in advance with the real treasure of American blood.
These names are here so that sacrifice is never reduced to a statistic, and so that the people behind the names are never forgotten.
The fallen soldiers cited on the wall span from World War II to Vietnam to the war in Afghanistan, where four of them died.

- Pvt. Francis (Butch) G. Moews, served from 1943-1945, U.S. Army, WWII
- 2nd Lt. Larry G. Stone, served from 1963-1967, USMC, Vietnam
- Pfc. Raymond G. Witzig, served from 1967-1968, U.S. Army, Vietnam
- Sgt. Joseph M. Ekstam, served from 1988-2000, U.S. Army, Bosnia
- Sgt. Anthony R. Maddox, served from 2011-2013, U.S. Army, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan
- Maj. Reid B. Nannen, served from 2004-2014, USMC, Afghanistan
- Sgt. Edmund David Zuck II, served from 2008-2015, U.S. Army, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan
